« Adéquation » (Adequacy)
Coming mainly from a partnership between ADDAP 13, The Second Chance
School, the "missions loclaes" and the AMS croix blanche its objective is to reinsert young people who have experienced
scholastic or professional failure following professionally delicate
situations, behaviour problems but especially neighbourhood culture
development problems. These young people live on the margins of society
and do not share its values.
This work's main aim is to match the potential, abilities, skills
and projects of the young people with existing qualifications and
training programmes and/or possible work placements in sports-orientated
work, animation and work linked to these areas. It is structured in
a series of optional and obligatory stages. Orientated towards physical
and mental redynamisation through sport, the young people included
in the programme establish a professional work project and participate
in the organisation and the carrying out of different demonstrations
to put it into practice.
Through sport and animation « Adéquation » gives
young people responsibility for their future and their position in
society and encourages them to become autonomous.
L'Ecole de la Deuxième Chance (E2C)
The second chance school of Marseille is the first school of this
type in Europe.
The socio-economic context is that of a population not counting less
than 26 different nationalities and of a mass unemployment. A steering
committee was founded with the actors concerned, under the direction
of the Town hall of Marseilles. Staff is of 72 people including 60
tutors placed at the disposal of the school by private employers of
the area. The teaching approach is centered on the individual who
defines a social assistance and education, training scheme while basing
itself on the needs for qualification of the young person and aiming
at an opportunity employment offered by a company. The sociocultural
development, the social and psychological aspects are taken into account
as well as the acquisition of basic knowledge and an occupational
qualification. Its role in the project will consist in bringing an
experiment and a competence in the field of teaching models for the
second chance school. It will contribute to the study of existing,
then to develop the modules formation bound for the young people.
It will try out the modules of formation near young people and trainers.
It will contribute to the validation of the general terms of reference
and professional of the young people.

The mission locale is in the professional and social
accompaniment reception centre of the young people. It acts with the
daily newspaper in the action for the construction and the animation
of the local policies of insertion and development of employment.
Within the framework of the local project "Adequacy" we
recruit and validate the inscription of the young people. Our work
makes it possible to give, with those which need it most, a recognized
framework enabling them to reinstate a professional and school course.
With the setting in network our role will be to inform our partners
on the need of a structure relay such as our in projects supporting
the participation of the young people.

The AMS CROIX BLANCHE is registred as partner
ine the ADEQUATION project and this for several reasons:
We train the young people of the project on various formations of
first aid (AFPS/Attestation of Formation with First aid/AFCPSAM/Attestation
of Further training to First aid With Material/CFAPSE/Certificat of
Formation to the Activities of First aid in Team/BNSSA/National patent
of Safety and Watery Rescue)
-We make party of the Committee of Follow-up of the Group
-We accomodate the young people in training course
-We employ the young people when they made a success of their examinations
of first aid in the form of vacation, which enables them to put a
foot in the active life
-In addition to this work with the daily newspaper, we plan to compare
work in civil safety in different the apys participating, with an
aim of trying to harmonize our practices and to make proposals at
the European level.

Youth, job, culture and food service
The idea is to insert profesionally youth to favorize citizen attitude.
A few years ago there was in our city a “social- bar” or “snack shop”
which developed a very interesting participation amongst young people.
The summer building for this “snack place” was destroyed and it was
not replaced.
After having seen for three years the interest of young people to
work, to have constructive experiences and increese their participation,
we started this project which bring together.

Youth are responsabilised by a job for short time in order to realise
spontanatly local social actions.

The aim of this project
is the creation of a national network gathering youth groups, « peer
leader », ONG and projects et des projets aiming a definition of a
theory and a methodology to the practice of active participation of
youth concerning the community life.
The aims are :
-The knowledge and the systematization of experiment related of the
young people on the territories of Sicily, Latium, Campana, Tuscany.
- The definition of a theory and a methodology for the active participation
to the community life.
- The realisation of focus group concerning some specifics aspects
of the active participation of the cummunity life.
-The promotion of meetings and exchanges in other territories La promotion
de rencontres et d’échanges dans d’autres territoires implying institutions,
ONG and youth groups.
-The diffusion of results obtined at national level and the creation
of a website.

participation of youngsters on local life community
Youngsters unemployed
since a certain time can manage clubs in relatively poor and moved
back villages. This clubs bound for other young people, fall under
local project of development, its have also for aim to develop European
concience and citizenship of youngsters. This ones also must, in a
weekly way, set up meetings and activities in their village.

“Kids in Action” could be considered as a pilot project.
This organisation is a result of an Youth initiatives project and
is completely managed by young people with less opportunities .

Following a passage to the police centre, youngsters, framed by a
team of social workers, learn by sport and animation to insert themselves
in the society. The target group concerned by this project are young
delinquents or in bad situation. There are often from underprivileged
and migrant district.
They decide of the animations and activities and participate to the
organizations.
Aim : - protect youngsters from criminal influence
-its healthy
-its working integrated
-good field for network–school/ police/justice
our methodology is
simple we need 3 things : ball, gym et music.
We want reduce the youth criminality in the city districts.
